          BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

Clear Creek County advisory boards and commissions offer an opportunity for citizen participation in local government.  Service on boards is voluntary and appointments are made by the County Commissioners.

Letters of Application for vacancies on the board listed below should be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 2000, Georgetown, CO  80444, OR Fax: 303-679-2440.  OR Email: bluther@co.clear-creek.co.us. Positions will remain open until filled.

PROJECT SUPPORT BOARD OF DIRECTORS:  Seven full members, three-year terms.  The County designated representative advises the Board of County Commissioners on senior citizen care, meals, services, and other aging and senior issues.  The number of directors of the Project Support Board shall be seven. Five directors shall be elected by the membership at annual meetings. Their terms shall be for three years and shall be staggered. Two directors shall be ex-officio members of the Board, one from the Board of County Commissioners and one from the City Council of Idaho Springs. Directors shall be voting members of the Corporation. Project Support manages and operates senior facilities in Idaho Springs and senior functions in other municipalities in the county.  Meets once per month with additional meetings as necessary.  There is a vacancy for one Full Member on the Project Support Board of Directors for 2017.
