How do I...

Research my Great Aunt Edna, Uncle Grumps and the kids? (during their years in Clear Creek County)

By Christine Bradley, Clear Creek County Archivist
January 1996

Anyone starting into genealogy needs to know that it is a labor of love which may take years or even a lifetime of searching. Nevertheless, most of the people who come into the county archives with questions seem enjoy the challenge. County personnel will be able to direct you to sources of information, however, you will have to do the research yourself, or put your name and information request in a pile of letters which is beginning to look like the pyramids of Egypt. In other words, the county is delighted to have the information you need, and will direct you to the sources, but is not in a position to do extensive genealogical work. Funeral Notice - graphic
