Board of Adjustment
- MEMBERS
- The Board of Adjustment (BOA) consists of five regular members and two
associate members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Each member
serves for a three year term.
- PURPOSE
- The Board of Adjustment is authorized to grant variances from the strict application of the Clear Creek County Zoning Regulations. Applicants must prove a hardship or practical difficulty to the BOA, explaining why their proposed construction cannot be done within the requirements of the Zoning Regulations. The BOA also is authorized to hear appeals from determinations or requirements in the enforcement of the Zoning Regulations.
- MEETINGS
- The Board of Adjustment meets the first Tuesday of each month at the County Courthouse in Georgetown, Colorado. The agenda is posted at the Courthouse.
- APPEALS
- Any appeal of a Board of Adjustment decision is to District Court.
