The services provided by the Building Department are aimed at protecting the public's safety by regulating the design, construction, materials, use and occupancy, and maintenance of buildings and structures within the unincorporated areas of Clear Creek County.

PERMIT APPLICATION SUBMITTAL HOURS  8am-9:30am                  No Appointment Needed  9:30am-3:30pm             Appointment Recommended in order for staff to be available to review and accept permit                                        applications for review.  Note:  Incomplete submittals may be refused until all required items can be received together              APPROVED PERMIT PICK-UP HOURS  8am-4pm                       Permits require 20-30 minutes to issue and review permit and inspection requirements

Attention Homeowners and Contractors -  New Codes Adopted
The 2006 International Residential Code, 2006 International Building Code, 2006 International Plumbing Code and 2006 International Mechanical Code have been adopted by the Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners on February 3, 2010 to be effective on February 3, 2010.
