Clear Creek County Health & Human Services
Health and Human Services provides multiple services to all age groups from prenatal to senior citizens. The department’s focus is primarily on vulnerable and "at risk" clients, such as low-income families, children in need of protection, the aged, and the disabled.
Child Welfare
The Child Welfare Unit is housed in the Clear Creek County Courthouse in Georgetown and is comprised of a dedicated team of caseworkers and a caseworker supervisor. The areas covered by this staff are: Child Protection and Youth in Conflict. Some of the services offered by this unit are:
- Adoptions
- Child abuse investigations
- Child Care Assistance

- Referrals to Community Resources

Health and Human Services also helps finance services for families, including therapy, drug and alcohol evaluations, psychological evaluations, and parenting classes. Also offered:

Mission
The Department of Health and Humans Services’ mission is to assist eligible clients in securing core needs, such as shelter, food, and health care, while working toward self-sufficiency, independence, and safe family surroundings.
