Clear Creek Community Connectors (C4) - Neighbors Helping Neighbors

If you are having trouble finding local community resources or just need a neighbor to talk to, please contact Clear Creek Community Connectors. They are a group of locals volunteering to help connect residents with existing resources and giving a helping hand whenever possible.

Clear Creek County Cares: Resources for Residents Impacted by COVID-19 - CLOSED

In partnership with the Grand Foundation, Clear Creek County was able to provide resources to help residents with financial challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Clear Creek County residents/households impacted by COVID-19 were eligible to receive local financial support in the following categories:

  1. Rental or Mortgage assistance
  2. Childcare costs
  3. Transportation costs
  4. Mental health support
  5. Eviction-related costs
  6. Water/sewer/gas/internet bills

As funds have been exhausted, the application process for this assistance is closed.

Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) - Emergency Rental and Mortgage Assistance

The Colorado Department of Local Affairs may be able to provide housing assistance for homeowners, landlords, and tenants who have been unable to pay due to COVID-19. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply by visiting the CDOLA Emergency Rental and Mortgage Assistance Page here.

Loaves & Fishes Food Bank

The County’s long-standing Food Bank continues to provide food for county residents in need. For more information on hours and donations visit https://www.loavesandfishesco.net or call 303-567-4450.

Senior Center & Volunteers of America Food Delivery

Meals delivered to Meals on Wheels clients, dining center clients, and Project Support residents.

Mental Health Services

During this stressful time, it is more important than ever to stay emotionally connected with others and deal with anxiety. We all feel stress in different ways and it’s ok to ask for help. Here are some resources:

Colorado Crisis Services

Free, immediate, 24/7/365, confidential and professional support if you’re feeling overwhelmed, helpless, or need someone to talk to. 

Jefferson Center for Mental Health

Serving Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Jefferson Counties and accepting new patients via phone and telehealth appointments. Talk to someone if you are stressed, overwhelmed, or feeling an emotional impact.

Resilience 1220 

Free counseling for those aged 12 to 20 in mountain communities west of Denver. Select services for parents and caregivers, such as grief support, are also available.

Colorado Spirit Crisis Counseling Program (CCP)

Free programs to assist with the emotional needs of survivors and those affected by the pandemic. Trained crisis counselors are available to listen and provide support to help people understand and manage stress, develop coping strategies, and get connected with other resources. All services are free, anonymous, and can be conducted virtually or over the phone.

A non-profit victim service organization that provides comprehensive support to victims of crime and personal tragedy in Clear Creek County.
